The reason for writing this short letter is to tell you why I planned this programme and how it could benefit you tremendously in your finances. To do this, I will tell you my story...

"I started work at the young age of 18. At that time I was already earning over RM2,000. Despite the money, I was always broke. There was always too much month left at the end of the money! This situation went on for four long years.

Finally, I got tired of being broke and decided to do something about it. I realised that despite having a good job and salary, my knowledge on personal finance was next to zero. This meant that I had to educate myself on personal finance.

I started by reading a few books on the subject matter and asking some people about it. As my knowledge on finances improved, I started to have money. But like most people, I soon wanted to make more money through investments. So I asked people who I thought were "experts" in finances. Unfortunately, their advice led me astray. Though I made a little bit of money, I also lost a lot more. In other words, I was running around in circles when it came to finances.

I discovered another point - though investments are good, you must know what you are doing in order to make money consistently from them. And the truth is that most people don't know what they are doing. Even if they did make money, it was just by pure luck. And because they did not know the reason why, they cannot repeat the process.

I did not want to wind up like that and so did what was necessary to get better and better.

So as I read more and more books on finances, I became even better at it. The wins became more as the losses became smaller and rarer. I started to actually make money from my investments.

As the formula of reading was certainly bearing fruit, I read even more books on finances. So today, I have read over 600 books on money matters alone. I also completed the Chartered Financial Consultant programme to ensure that I covered the formal qualification bit.

Of course, it wasn't plain sailing all the way. I made mistakes as well but these were quickly addressed. I kept refining my methods and techniques along the way.

It took 13 long years but I became a millionaire in 1998. Today, I'm generating income from my books, properties, stocks, unit trusts and business. And oh yes, my business turnover and profits have grown by over 127% annually for the past four years - all done on a part-time basis!

I believe in a world full of abundance and know that there are plenty of good things to go around. There are more than enough for everyone. That is why I'm happy to share what I know with others and I do that by writing and speaking about money.
